Henry Roussel (1875-1946), also known as Henry Roussell, was a French silent film actor, film director and screenwriter best known for his silent films of the 1910s and 1920s.
He starred in well over 40 films between 1912 and 1939.
The life of composer Frederic Chopin through his childhood love for Maria Wodziska young Polish aristocrat he could not marry her because of her own situation, considered too small by the family of the girl. At the threshold of death, Chopin will remember his beloved and the song he composed on leaving, and that gives the film its title: La Valse farewell .
